HONGTENG - China Mold Design Company
XIAMEN HONGTENG OPTOELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD is a professional molds factory china. Our company is located in two cities of Xiamen and Zhangzhou, covering an area of around 25,000 square meters. It is a large-scale mold design, manufacturing and processing manufacturer. The company has rich experience in precision plastic parts, blow molds, and other die-casting molds, stamping molds, medical parts plastic injection molds ,etc.
One-stop mold design service from prototype to production
We provide mold design, mold manufacturing, and mold processing one-stop service. Hollow dies and cold stamping dies are both part of the die design.
To fix any issues with the mold, the mold designer will use tools such as CAD to create and customize digitally. The efficiency, quality, and cost of stamping parts production such as hardware stamping parts and precision metal stamping parts are closely related to mold manufacturing and processing.
Molds are not only manufacturing equipment that can mass-produce industrial products with certain shape and size requirements but also shape materials in a specific way to form industrial products with a given structural form. Almost all industrial products need to be formed using molds, whether they are large items like cars and airplanes or small items like tea cups and nails.
Our company has more than ten years of experience in mold design, has a team of engineers, and the level of mold design and manufacturing technology is in a leading position in China.
Send us the custom injection molding services you need.
Classification of mold design
Molds can be classified as either metal or non-metal depending on the different materials. Casting (non-ferrous metal die-casting, cast steel, etc.) and forging are among the divisions. It may be separated into sand, metal, vacuum, paraffin, and other things depending on the substance it is made of. It is also split into plastic and inorganic non-metallic categories. Polymers are one of them, and their quick growth into polymer plastics has made them extremely relevant to people’s daily lives.
1. Molds for plastic injection molding, blow molding (for plastic bottles), and extrusion molding (for pipe fittings)
2.Sheet metal output: hot rolled, cold rolled, hot rolled and cold rolled.
3. Using dies for stretching, shaping, bending, stamping, and blanking metal sheets
4. Molds made of powder metallurgy and die-casting for non-ferrous metals
5. Rolling line, stamping, casting, forging, extruding, die-casting, alloy, sheet metal, and plastic.
Steps of mold design
1. Prior to design, evaluate the viability of creating mold goods to ensure the accuracy of its product drawings. On the other hand, we may learn about the significance of every part of the complete chassis to establish important measurements.
2. Sorting the items and analyzing their structures are the next tasks to be completed following product analysis.
3. Material preparation: Using the product development plan, estimate the size of the formwork in the drawing, taking into account each fixing plate, discharge plate, punch, insert, etc. It should be noted that designing the diagram of the product development plan is much aided by preparing the content immediately in the plan.
4. When all of the material preparation is done, you may fully enter the diagram’s design and make a new one for each section to be drawn. Additionally, each manufacturing point, including fitter markings, cuts, lines, etc., should be carefully considered while developing the mold map. Different processing methods have entire layers, which is quite advantageous for managing drawings and cutting wire.
5. Check mold drawings for errors, set up accessories, create distinct layers for each different template, use the same benchmark to review mold settings, such as guide post holes, and establish the product development diagram of each process into the setup diagram to check that each The hole locations of the two templates are consistent and whether the clearance fit between the upper and lower sides of the bending position is accurate.

Design and manufacture of injection molds
plastic Injection mold design
The injection mold is made up of a fixed mold and a moving mold. The fixed mold is put on the injection molding machine’s fixed template, while the moving mold is installed on the machine’s moveable template. During the injection molding process, the movable mold as well as the fixed mold are closed to create the gating system and the cavity, and when the mold is opened to remove the plastic product, the movable mold and fixed mold are separated.

plastic Injection mold manufacture
The mold’s basic structure remains the same, even if it may change depending on the type of plastic used, how well it performs, the shape and construction of the plastic product, and the type of injection machine. The pouring system, temperature adjustment system, molding components, and structural components make up the majority of the mold.components for structural injection molds
1. Guide elements
2. Establish agency
3. Side core-pulling device
Some plastic items with side holes or undercuts need to be laterally separated before being pushed out, and after the side core is taken out, the object may be properly demoulded. A side core pulling mechanism has to be installed in the mold at this point.
Steel material selection in mold design
1. Cold-worked
Mainly employed in cold (room temperature) circumstances to create press-formed ones. such as cold rolling, cold stamping, cold drawing, cold pier, cold extrusion die, etc.
2.Hot-working die steel
Mostly utilized in the production of hot-formed, high-temperature metals. Examples include hot forging, hot extrusion, die casting, hot shearing, and others.
3. Plastic steel
Plastic steel also known as plastic mold steel, is mostly utilized in the plastic molding process.
In the plastic manufacturing sector, plastic steel comes in a variety of forms, including pre-hardened plastic, age-hardened plastic, corrosion-resistant plastics, and maraging plastics.
